KWC Engineers' Leadership Team oversees the day-to-day work efforts of KWC’s professional and administrative staff, and is committed to ensuring that our client's expectations are met and that their projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Our leaders have a broad range of experience, spanning across all branches of our industry, including: Cost effective due diligence, formulating project budgets, establishing project schedules, strategic design, facilitating resolution of issues, agency outreach, and providing construction support.

Kenneth W. Crawford Jr., R.C.E.

Chairman, cfo, owner & founder

Ken is the founder and president of KWC Engineers, a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Registered Civil Engineer in California, Arizona and Nevada. He has more than 40 years of public works and private land development experience. Ken has directed land development projects in more than 50 Southern California cities and has managed public works projects for more than 20 Southern California cities and three counties. 

Ken’s professional experience includes the design and management of many types of private and public infrastructure projects; including residential master plan developments, commercial and industrial subdivisions, water treatment, trunk sewers, reclaimed water, electrical substations, landslide stabilization, erosion control, cost opinions, assessment districts, community redevelopment, street widening and flood control. His experience as chief estimator for a major Southern California contractor has given him the insight to understand the construction and contracting methods required in the competitive development market. An early advocate of computerization in the engineering field, Ken was instrumental in developing the company’s engineering process for the development of project plans, cost opinions, schedules and project management.

As owner and chairman, Ken is personally committed to setting and maintaining the firm’s high professional standards for quality control and client satisfaction. This begins with building a relationship with clients to understand their needs.

Ken’s commitment to the community is an important aspect of his career, having been a past member of the Circle City Rotary Club, current chair for the Budget and Finance Committee at Canyon Lake Community Church and serving as Board Chair for 14 of his 16 years as a School Board Trustee for the Linfield Christian School in Temecula.

Brandon Barnett, P.E., P.L.S.

President, ceo

Brandon is the President of KWC Engineers. Brandon spent two years studying Law at the University of California Riverside, and finished his undergraduate degree at California State Polytechnic University of Pomona.  With experience in Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange County, he specializes in the development of multi-tasked projects from planning to implementation, - bringing direct value to KWC clients. With a strong background in engineering and surveying practices, Brandon excels in understanding project feasibility, both politically and practically. 

With many years of experience in civil engineering design and surveying procedures in addition to leading various land development entitlements, Brandon interacts with clients and public agencies to manage and coordinate multi-million dollar projects from conception through the construction phase. Other skills include managing budgets, schedules, overseeing design efforts, developing innovative solutions to field issues, and ensuring client satisfaction through clear, continuous, and responsive communication.
